Statement of Diversity
Bennett International Group, LLC and its affiliate companies; Bennett Motor Express, Bennett Truck Transport, Bennett Distribution Services, Bennett International Logistics, Bennett DriveAway, Bennett International Transport, are all certified and registered as a Women Owned Business. Bennett has been in business for over 35 years and is owned and operated by Marcia G. Taylor. Mrs. Taylor is a U. S. citizen who owns 94% of all Bennett stocks and is actively involved in the day-to-day management of the business.
On an annual basis, the Women Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) recertifies all Bennett companies. WBENC is the only nationally known organization for Women that has strict guidelines for certification that include a detailed notarized affidavit, client interviews and site visits. In addition, Bennett has been certified by several designated third party certification agencies that represent cities, states and municipalities around the U.S. including: New York, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Baltimore and Savannah.
Diversity partnerships are also an integral part of the way Bennett does business. Bennett consistently partners with ALTernative Logistics, a Small Women-Owned transportation and logistics company, to gain opportunities and provide their customers an extra value-added service. ALTernative Logistics meets all size standards required by the Small Business Administration.
