Bennett International Group Launches 35th Anniversary Campaign
Company’s “Core Values” Takes Spotlight

Bennett International Group, LLC (Bennett) kicked off its 35th anniversary celebration Friday, Feb. 20, 2009 with CEO and President Marcia Taylor joining some of the company’s nearly 700 employees and agents at the company’s 29th Annual Symposium and Award Gala at the Marriott Evergreen Conference Resort in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
As part of the 35th year celebration, Bennett will renew its focus on the company’s 10 core values, and will hold several special events throughout the year in connection with its nearly 3,000 agents, employees and owner/operators.
"We have thrived and consistently shown profitable growth, even in turbulent economic times because of our values and our people", said Bennett International Group owner, President and CEO Marcia Taylor.
In 1974, Taylor and her late husband J.D. Garrison purchased George Bennett Motor Express, a small contract carrier with two customers and five trucks. During the next three decades, Taylor, along with her three adult children David Lowry, Danny Lowry and Lynette Alt, continued to grow the family business, launching Bennett DriveAway, Bennett Distribution Services, Bennett Truck Transport, Bennett International Transport, Bennett International Logistics, and its most recent operational line, Bennett Building Systems.
