A Bennett Driver Makes Good

September 27, 2013

Former Bennett Drive Away driver, Dan Rodgers drove for Bennett up until a year ago, but while he enjoyed delivering trucks and RVs, he harbored a strong passion for writing. In between his 11 hour breaks of service, Dan would write feverishly until he was called to go back on the road. When his mother was diagnosed with cancer, he stopped driving for Bennett in order to care for her. Something he would later call, “a blessing in disguise,” because that time off would prove beneficial for him in finishing his first book titled, “Call Me Sergeant Rock.”

Dan’s first book is on its way to becoming a best seller. Proud of his time at Bennett, Dan reached out to our CEO and leader, Marcia Taylor, with a heartfelt letter of appreciation about his efforts and great experience driving for Bennett.

Please take some time to read Dan’s inspirational letter, and support his book which is available on Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, and Books a Million.
