2017 Bennett Woman Driver of Excellence Award Recipient

Ace Doran/Bennett driver Kim Pearce is no stranger to adversity. Her positive attitude and perseverance has never wavered, even when faced with a devastating breast cancer diagnosis. Having gone through chemo treatments along with all the difficult side effects, Kim is now cancer-free and not once did she allow her illness to destroy her work ethic and ability.

One of the most special qualities Kim possesses is strong Christian faith. She always wears a smile on her face accompanied by a cheerful “Hello,” to anyone she meets. Her willingness to help others, whether they’re broken down to get the load where it needs to go to meet a customers’ needs, (even if it means backtracking hundreds of miles to help), makes her truly invaluable to our Bennett family.

Pearce consistently upholds our core values by always thinking about the customer and how to best serve them for the betterment of the company and our drivers. A true woman of her word, you can always count on Kim to do what she says she’s going to do. She always has a handle on finances, ensuring the proper funds are allocated to help reach her goals, and goes above and beyond to uphold excellent safety measures such as making sure freight is secured safely during transit. As an active member of her church, Kim enjoys helping out with activities whenever she can.
