- Oil prices fall to their lowest since January after government data showed surging stockpiles of crude and fuels.
- U.S. commercial crude inventories jumped by 6.8 million barrels in the week through May 31, the U.S. Energy Information Administration reported.
- Oil prices were already under pressure from fears of slowing global growth due to U.S. trade conflicts.
