To our valued customers:

As the United States enters the second week of concentrated efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19, Pilot Flying J wanted to take this opportunity to assure you that Pilot Flying J’s diesel fuel supply situation remains very strong.

We have been working with major fuel suppliers for updates on product supply and near term outlooks are showing strong diesel fuel inventories. We will advise you if that situation changes.

Over the past 25 years, Pilot Flying J has built an infrastructure to ensure security of supply for our over 780 travel centers in North America.  During challenging times as the nation is facing today, this infrastructure will allow us to work through shortages and disruptions if they arise.

Below are examples of the steps we have taken to ensure that our fuel supply remains strong for our customers and the communities we serve.

  • We have over 450 million gallons of storage nationally, in addition to the storage in our travel center network locations.
  • Our company owned and operated fleet of 750 trucks and 1,580 professional driverssupported by 180 team members focused on managing maintenance and logistics.  Drivers are also taking great care to sanitize their trucks, practice social distancing and good hygiene habits to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
  • We have 130 team members located in Houston, Phoenix, Denver and Knoxville intensely focused on buying, shipping and delivering fuel to all Pilot and Flying J locations across North America.
  • 10 fuel terminals owned and operated by Pilot Company, as well as exclusive access to 20 terminals and shipping across 20 pipelines and to 96 terminalsnationally.

As each of you stay focused on delivering much needed supplies, please know that we are just as focused on making sure that your fuel needs are met daily.

We are proud to play a role in the trucking industry and work alongside each of you every day as we work together to keep America moving.

Sincerely,

Jimmy Haslam
