Bennett DriveAway is one of nine operating companies affiliated with Bennett International Group. Founded in 1974 as George Bennett Motor Express, Bennett International Group began as a small intrastate trucking operation with five trucks and two customers. Over the years has grown into a global transportation and logistics provider serving over five thousand customers across North America. Led by CEO and Chair Marcia G. Taylor, and backed by a nationwide team of over 3,000 employees, agents and contractors, Bennett is recognized as a leading provider of supply chain solutions to government contractors and corporations worldwide.
Bennett DriveAway’s executive management team has more than 100 years of combined experience managing vehicle delivery services. In addition to offering a wealth of specialized knowledge and experience, Bennett DriveAway leverages the skills and assets of several affiliated associations to gain access to the latest industry practices and advancements. We maintain membership in the Used Truck Association, National Truck Equipment Association and the Women’s Business Enterprise Council.

In 1986, the late Ted Paul and current DriveAway Director Gerald Fitzgerald started Bennett DriveAway with 25 contractors and two locations. Today, DriveAway has more than 900 D.O.T. certified contractors providing a range of vehicle delivery services in 48 states and Canada.
