ATLANTA, Sept. 23, 2009
For the second consecutive year, specialized freight transportation company Bennett Motor Express has received the National Defense Transportation Association’s (NDTA) 2009 Distinguished Services Award.
The NDTA Distinguished Service Award is given to individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions to the Defense Transportation System and who have shown exemplary support of the Association. BME accepted the award during NDTA’s 63rd Annual International Awards Luncheon Sept. 23, 2009 in Nashville, Tenn.
“This award is a tremendous honor and a testament to the professional staff and owner/operators we have at BME,” said BME President David Lowry, who serves on the NDTA’s Surface Transportation Committee and Transportation Advisory Board. “We’re proud to be recognized for our commitment to our core values of integrity, quality service and safety.”
