Bennett Family of Companies Partnership with Transition OverWatch Assists in Launching Military Members Into Successful Careers

MCDONOUGH, GEORGIA (December 26, 2023) – Over the past year, the Bennett Family of Companies has been partnering with Transition OverWatch, demonstrating a shared commitment to honoring the service of individuals to our Nation. Transition OverWatch’s initiatives play a crucial role in facilitating the seamless transition of military members from active duty to meaningful civilian careers, offering support in interview readiness, community building, professional development and overcoming challenges.

Charles Vitanza became a member of Transition OverWatch with 100 days remaining in the Air Force. Charles’ love for technology lead him to participate in the Software Developer Apprenticeship program. Through this program, Charles was introduced to the Bennett Family of Companies and officially joined the team on December 5^th, 2022.

On Monday, December 18th, 2023, Mick McGilloway, Managing Director of Transition OverWatch, visited Bennett’s Home Office to congratulate Charles on graduating from their Apprenticeship program. Charles was presented with a commemorative American flag, symbolizing his success and honoring his time in the Air Force.

Charles expressed his endorsement for Transition OverWatch, stating that he “would recommend Transition OverWatch” because it “alleviates the fear of being worried there is nothing on the other side” after discharge. He further remarked that his “first year at Bennett has been amazing.”
