The Henry County Times featured Bennett for hauling a M102, 105 MM Howitzer for the American Legion Post 55. The American Legion Post has been working on getting a piece of military equipment to display in front of the post for over four years. When the post finally got word they had received a piece of equipment, Bennett was honored to donate the transportation of the M102, 105MM Howitzer.
