Bennett Motor Express CEO, David Lowry, Featured on Land Line Now Podcast for ‘Large Car Campground’ Initiative
David Lowry, CEO of Bennett Motor Express, was recently featured in a podcast interview with “Land Line Now.” In this interview, David explains his latest initiative for a “Large Car Campground” in Joplin, Missouri, for Bennett owner-operators. With there being many concerns for owner-operators to face at current truck stops, the idea was to create a place for Bennett drivers to be comfortable and make their lives better.
David explains why this project was important by sharing, “These guys live on the road and if you’ve ever had to find a truck spot at 10 o’clock at night, it’s almost impossible so what happens is that drivers end up finding any place where they can park. It may not be in the safest place, and they are vulnerable out there,” said David Lowry, CEO of Bennett Motor Express. “Give the drivers some room and give them some R&R by giving them a quality of life. I know that’s something that not only myself but others in this industry strive to do for drivers out on the road is to give them a quality of life while they are out there working.”
