Automation, news feed among key feature upgrades
ATLANTA, Dec. 23, 2010
Specialized freight transporter Bennett Motor Express (BME) today unveiled a new look for driversig.com, the company’s website for current owner/operators and drivers. The company redesigned the website to give its nearly 600 contractors better information and tools to improve operating efficiencies.
“Driversig is just one of the tools that we’ve recently introduced to make sure we continue to meet customer demand for specialized freight services,” added BME President David Lowry. “As the economy continues to improve, we want to position our owner/operators to get the best opportunities available so that they can succeed.”
The newly redesigned website includes streamlined company and industry news on the home page, new video content, better navigation, a new contractor relation’s page, regulation updates, and other business management tools.
“The Drivers Advisory Board asked for a better, more user-friendly website to serve the owner/operators needs. We heard their request and responded by developing a resource that enhances their business,” said Len Johnson, BME executive vice president.
