MCDONOUGH, GA., (October 7, 2019) – The Women in Trucking Association (WIT) announced that Bennett International Group has been recognized as a Top Transportation Company for Women to Work For by Redefining the Road magazine.
According to Brian Everett, publisher of Redefining the Road, there are five key features that distinguish companies recognized on this list: corporate cultures that foster gender diversity; competitive compensation and benefits; flexible hours and work requirements; professional development opportunities; and career advancement opportunities.

Bennett is a 2019 Top Company for Women to Work for in Transportation and Top Woman-Owned Business in Transportation. Tamalyn Teems, Judy King and Lynette Alt Mathis received the awards at the 2019 WIT Accelerate! Conference.
“The second year in existence, this award is driven by the marketplace, and the sheer number of individuals in the industry who participated in the process is incredible,” said Everett. More than 150 nominations were received, and nearly 11,000 votes were cast to identify the companies named to the list, according to Everett.
“As always, we are thankful to be recognized by such a wonderful organization that advocates for women in our industry. Women in Trucking is doing their part to elevate trucking and logistics as great industries for women to thrive in,” said Marcia Taylor, CEO of Bennett International Group. “We are proud of the women who work at Bennett. They are an integral part of our workforce, our vision and our future. This award will help tell our prospective female drivers and employees that we value their contributions in our company.”
Bennett was recognized during a special program at the Women in Trucking Accelerate! Conference & Expo, which took place in Dallas, Texas.
