The Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) has named Chris Barrett, executive vice president of McDonough, Ga. based Bennett Truck Transport, LLC, as its 2008 Supplier Person of the Year.
Barrett, a 22-year veteran of the manufactured housing transport industry, was honored on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at the National Industry Awards luncheon during MHI’s annual Congress and Expo for Manufactured and Modular Housing at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. A jury of peers from the manufactured housing industry selected Barrett as the top supplier based on a range of criteria, from industry experience to quality of service.
“This award is a significant achievement because it reflects the commitment of Bennett Truck Transport’s owner-operators and our agents to exceeding the expectations of our manufactured housing customers,” said Barrett.
The Manufactured Housing Institute’s Supplier Person of the Year award recognizes the leading suppliers to the manufactured housing industry. MHI is the national trade organization representing all segments of the factory-built housing industry.
