Bennett Leaders Recognized by the American Trucking Association (ATA) for Excellence and Industry Leadership

McDonough, GA (October 28, 2025) – The Bennett Family of Companies proudly announces three distinguished recognitions from the American Trucking Association (ATA), highlighting Bennett’s ongoing commitment to leadership development, advocacy and excellence across all divisions.

Jim Utley, Vice President of Bennett Heavy & Specialized, LLC (BHS) was honored with the ATA Cathy Evans Highway to Victory Award. Presented annually, this prestigious award recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership and advocacy within the industry. Jim’s dedication to strengthening industry partnerships and advancing legislative efforts that benefit drivers and carriers alike has made a lasting impact, earning him on of ATA’s highest honors.

Bennett’s Driector of Aerospace Operations, Will Haymons, was recognized as a graduating member of LEAD ATA, a premier leadership program designed to cultivate emergeing executives within the trucking industry. Over the past year, Will successfully completed the rigorous leadership ciriculum including hands-on experience in advocacy, safety initiatives and strategic industry engagement. His graduation underscores Bennett’s commitment to developing leaders who drive innovation and uphold excellence in specialized logistics operations.

Bennett’s Contractor Relations Manager, Allison Hughes, has been selected as a member of the 13th class of LEAD ATA. The program provides participants with a deep understanding on the legislative, regulatory and operational facets of trucking while promoting professional growth and industry involvement. Allison joins an elite group of future leaders from across the nation who will work together to advance their knowledge and specialty within the trucking industry.
