2019 Bennett Woman Driver of Excellence Award Recipient
Lisa Little has been driving for 10 years and is an excellent driver. She is always ready to go above and beyond to help other drivers. Her peers say she is a joy to work with and is always smiling, happy and will welcome anyone with open arms and a warm hug.
Recently, Lisa and her husband, Garrett, invited a fellow driver to their home in Wisconsin. The driver wasn’t able to make it to their home because he broke down in Illinois. When Lisa and Garrett found out, they jumped in their truck and travelled over 400 miles and went directly to the driver. They helped him safely deliver the load on time and asked nothing in return. This is just one example of how she is always willing to help others.
Lisa is a safe driver with a near spotless CSA score. She does her job perfectly and when a unit is under her dispatch, no one has to worry about the unit being delivered safely and on time. One of her biggest challenges is seeing accidents on the road that could have been avoided if people were paying attention to their driving. She believes that Safety is Priority One.
She has three children and three grandchildren. When Lisa is not working, she likes being outdoors and snowmobiling, riding ATV’s, skiing, fishing, paddle boarding and shooting guns.
Lisa exemplifies all of Bennett’s core values in all ways at all times. Lisa demonstrates what it takes to be the DriveAway RV Division Woman Driver of Excellence.
